The role of the Administration Coordinator is to lead a team of 8 including Business Support Officers, Internal Appeals Officers and Systems Support Officer to ensure that the team provides administrative support for the Local Laws, Parking Services and School Crossings Team.

 

The role

 

We are seeking an Administration Coordinator professional to join the Business Support Team. Reporting to Manager, Compliance and Amenity, your role is to:

  • Establish, monitor, and report on administrative and management systems
  • Provide leadership. training and coaching to team members in order to achieve and maintain accurate and effective administrative procedures and systems
  • Maintain the annual administrative planner and ensure projects are completed within the required timeframe

 

About you

 

We are looking for someone with:

  • Ability to demonstrate the City of Kingston’s values of Future Orientated, Accountable, Dynamic, Expert, Community and Celebration
  • a degree or diploma course with some relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated experience working on procedure development initiatives, performance monitoring/system updates and an ability to identify areas of continuous improvement and develop solutions.

This is a full-time fixed term maternity leave cover position for 12 months or more, commencing immediately or as negotiated.
